Our Clinic

True North Veterinary Services is pleased to offer mobile veterinary care in our La Boit Mobile Clinic.

In our mobile vet clinic, we are able to do physical exams, vaccinations, nail trims, heartworm tests, wound care, spay/neuters, perform other surgical procedures, dentals, take radiographs, and many other services on site.

With our paperless, cloud-based software, we have access to your pet’s complete medical record and can easily take payments on the go.

If your pet requires any additional in-clinic diagnostics or treatment, we can arrange referral to another clinic.

Jeannine Peterson, DVM

Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Jeannine Peterson has been passionate about working with animals all of her life. She grew up on a small farm in Tenino, Washington, which helped foster her love for animals.

Dr. Peterson attended Montana State University-Bozeman where she received her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. During her time at CSU she focused on large animal medicine, with a passion for herd health and preventive medicine.

After graduation she worked at a small mixed animal practice in Montana. She gained invaluable experience practicing medicine in a rural community for over five years. She then worked at a small animal emergency clinic where she gained invaluable knowledge and skills. She continues to work at the emergency clinic dividing her time between there and True North Veterinary Services.

In 2024 she decided to form True North Veterinary Services to serve the local community in which she lives. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and client education.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys getting to explore the great outdoors and traveling. Her family has three dogs, Greta, Sage and Josie and one horse named Gunner.
